Calculator inputs
HomeFix Tools calculator inputs are processed in your browser. The site does not require an account and does not intentionally send ordinary project measurements to a HomeFix Tools application database.
Local browser storage
The Home Maintenance Checklist may use localStorage to remember checked items on your device. This information stays in your browser unless you copy, print or otherwise export it. You can clear it using your browser controls or the tool’s reset function.
Hosting and technical logs
The hosting provider or content-delivery network may process ordinary technical request data such as IP address, browser information, requested URL, timestamp and security/logging information as part of operating and protecting the website. Their handling is governed by the provider configuration and applicable terms.
Contact form
The static contact form is designed to use a configured email address or external form service. Until a real service is connected, the form does not claim that a message was sent. If a service is connected later, this policy should be updated to identify how submitted name, email, subject and message data are handled.
Cookies and analytics
The base build does not include analytics or advertising code. It does not set advertising cookies. Browser storage used by the checklist is described above.
Google AdSense if enabled later
If Google AdSense or another advertising service is enabled, this policy must be updated to match the live implementation. Google and other third-party vendors may use cookies, IP addresses, advertising identifiers or similar technologies to serve, measure and personalize ads where permitted. Users may be provided with advertising and consent controls appropriate to their region. The live site should link to Google’s information about how Google uses data when you use partners’ sites or apps and should use a Google-certified consent management platform where Google requires one.
Sale of personal data
HomeFix Tools does not sell calculator input data. If future site functionality changes the categories of information collected or shared, this policy must be updated before that functionality is represented as active.
Changes
We may revise this policy when site functionality, hosting, analytics, advertising or contact handling changes. The update date should reflect the live revision.
