What we publish
HomeFix Tools publishes project calculators, measurement guidance and general maintenance-planning content. We aim to answer the practical question behind a tool, not simply create pages around keywords.
How content is reviewed
Calculator explanations are checked against the implemented formula. Worked examples are recalculated. Guides are reviewed for unit consistency, duplicated claims, unclear instructions and statements that could imply professional certification where none exists.
Sources and product-specific claims
When a claim depends on a manufacturer, code authority or other external source, the page should identify that dependency rather than converting it into a universal rule. Coverage and yield values should come from the actual product label when a user is making a purchase decision.
Corrections
Readers can report calculation issues or unclear text through the Contact page. We evaluate the report against the code, formula and supporting documentation, then update the page when a correction is warranted.
No invented authority
We do not invent expert credentials, customer counts, awards, certifications, testimonials or ratings. A transparent method is more useful than a badge that cannot be verified.
