Current base build
The base HomeFix Tools build does not install analytics or advertising scripts. It therefore does not intentionally set analytics or advertising cookies.
Local preferences
The maintenance checklist can use localStorage to remember checked items. localStorage is browser storage rather than a traditional cookie, but it is described here because it persists information on the device.
If analytics is added
This policy and any consent experience must be updated to name the analytics service, explain its purpose and reflect the actual data flow before analytics is treated as active.
If advertising is added
Advertising platforms such as Google AdSense may use cookies or similar technologies for ad delivery, frequency control, measurement and personalization where permitted. Consent requirements vary by region. A fake banner that does not control the underlying technologies should not be used.
Regional consent
If Google ads are served in regions where Google requires a certified consent management platform, the live site should implement an eligible CMP and configure it according to the advertising setup. The README contains deployment notes for this step.
